About the Author
Ben Zimmerman, BS, MS in psychology with an emphasis in behavior analysis and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Ben Zimmerman worked at the Kennedy Krieger Institute (affiliated with Johns Hopkins) with a multidisciplinary team in the Feeding Disorders Program. He worked as a feeding therapist in the Inpatient Feeding Disorders Unit, where children and babies between 9 months and 11 years of age were treated for severe food refusal. Also, he worked in the Outpatient Feeding Disorders Program doing feeding therapy with a variety of cases.
Ben Zimmerman also spent one year consulting out of state, as well as abroad, before helping start the Los Altos Feeding Clinic. It has since grown into a world-renowned feeding clinic. He now serves as director of the Los Altos Feeding Clinic, which has one of the highest success rates across the U.S.
Ben Zimmerman also does feeding workshops across the country to train other feeding therapy specialists about Behavioral Feeding Therapy.
